WHY THESE AND NOT PRINTED ONES

The artwork is etched into the acrylic and the accents are hand painted into the etch, not printed on the surface. Printed tokens chip and fade at the edges where thumbs land. These do not, because there is nothing sitting on top to wear away.

The accents are picked for contrast against the token colour, so a glance across the table is enough to read the board.
